How does VigenFlow work?

VigenFlow is a local AI pipeline. Run `python main.py 'your topic'` and it automatically researches the topic, writes a script, generates AI voice narration, creates AI images for each scene, burns subtitles, generates SEO metadata and a thumbnail, and produces a YouTube Shorts version - all without any manual editing.

VigenFlow is free and open-source. You only pay for the AI API calls you make. Most runs are free using Gemini's free tier. No subscription fee.

What AI models does VigenFlow support?

VigenFlow supports a chain of LLM providers: Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), GPT-4o (OpenAI), and Groq (Llama 3.3). It auto-falls back to the next available model if one fails or hits rate limits.

Does VigenFlow support multiple languages?

Yes. VigenFlow supports English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and Chinese. Voice synthesis and subtitle generation work across all supported languages.

Do I need coding experience to use VigenFlow?

No coding background required. If you can run pip install and python script.py in a terminal, you can run VigenFlow. No web development or machine learning knowledge needed.

How long does it take to generate a video?

10 to 40 minutes depending on providers, and the pipeline runs fully unattended. ElevenLabs voice plus Imagen 3 images takes about 15 minutes. The fully free stack using Gemini, Kokoro, and Pollinations takes about 35 minutes.

What voice options are available and which are free?

VigenFlow tries voice providers in order: ElevenLabs (premium, most natural), OpenAI TTS (paid), Kokoro (free, runs locally on your machine with no API key), Edge TTS (free cloud), gTTS (basic fallback). For zero cost, Kokoro gives the best quality and runs on Apple Silicon or CPU with no setup.

Does VigenFlow work on Mac, Windows, and Linux?

Yes. VigenFlow runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux, and Windows via WSL2. Requires Python 3.11 or newer and FFmpeg.

Can VigenFlow auto-upload videos to YouTube?

Yes. Auto-upload via the YouTube Data API is supported. Videos that pass the quality score gate upload automatically with the generated title, description, tags, chapters, and thumbnail. No YouTube Studio needed.

What platforms does VigenFlow support?

VigenFlow generates output for YouTube long-form, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and Instagram Reels. Aspect ratio, duration, LUFS audio target, and subtitle style automatically adjust per platform.
